Mabel is the protagonist of the upcoming 2026 Disney/Pixar animated film Hoppers. She is voiced by Piper Curda. She’s an animal lover who has to relinquish her soul and consciousness in exchange of having a new life as a robot beaver to explore the world of animals.

Mabel is a fair-skinned preteen asian girl with disheveled, voluminous short black hair, defined thick eyebrows, monolid eyes, and scattered freckles. She wears a shirt over her dark green jacket, long pants, sneakers, and wears a white cast on her left hand.
In her beaver form, she has orange fur with black hands and feet.

•Her name, Mabel, means lovable and dear, which comes from Latin origin. It can insinuate that she is loved by animals very much, or, it can allude to her love and adoration of animals.
Mabel is the seventh female protagonist in a Pixar feature film after Merida from Brave, Joy from Inside Out, Dory from Finding Dory, Elastigirl from Incredibles 2, Mei Lee from Turning Red, and Ember Lumen from Elemental.
The design for Mabel does not reuse the animation style as anime or the previous Pixar films: Luca, Turning Red, and Elio.
Mabel shares the same given name with two other characters who came before her. One from Ratatouille, and the other from Gravity Falls.
